Meet the Maker

Hello Hello! For those wondering who is behind KNZ Silver Co, my name is McKenzie Cartwright! (Kimpton) I've been a silversmith full time for just about 4 years now, and in April of this year (2026) I made the jump and started KNZ Silver Co., my very own, one-man band business, and it has been the biggest blessing! It brings me so much joy to be able to create and build unique pieces for special occasions, that are also built to wear every day and can stand the test of time.

A little about me: I'm newly married to the love of my life, and we spend all our spare time riding, roping, and traveling to jackpots and rodeos across Montana. My husband also guides elk hunts in the fall, so we spend the little time we have outside rodeo in the mountains. My love for horses, rodeo, and the outdoors inspires me not only in my designs, but also in my fabrication. Theres nothing better than seeing my pieces being worn out and about, and while jewelry does need to be taken care of, I take pride in building pieces that can be worn daily.
